Passion fruit, citrus and pine compete for dominance on the nose. A light to medium bodied mouthfeel set the stage for a voyage of discovery of the 7 hop varieties from around the world that deliver a punch of bitterness on the after palate.
Hoppy and fruity aroma, some sweet caramel notes. Light but bitter IPA with a bunch of hops and even some hop burn. Large amount of sorghum in the malt base is a challenge with balancing the bitterness from hops. However, a very nice IPA.
Enjoyed when visiting Kweza Craft Brewery in Kigali, Rwanda (10/2023)
