Shedland is bold and soft IPA brewed on fluffy yet earthy malted barley and oats, amplified by wheat. Lightly bittered with Columbus, the wort passed through the teaspoon effect with Centennial. Dry hopped with Ekuanot and Idaho 7. Shedland quakes with notes of radiant stone fruit and lemon verbena through a hint of pineapple.
Hazy yellow, rich white foam. Nice aroma with lemon and some tropical fruits, melon and pine. Dry and bitter initial, quite thick mouthfeel. The body is not sturdy enough to carry the hops all the way through. Long and nicely bitter finish. Delicious.
Enjoyed while house-sitting in El Morche, Andalusia, Spain (2/2021). Ordered “home” from Beerbay.net
