In 2020 we prepared a Dunkelweizen for the sauerkraut & sausages season in our pub, but then lockdown happened and we moved the beer to an empty oak wine barrel. 2 years later lovely sourness was developed, and we built it up with dried sour cherries.
Deep red-brown color, pleasant aroma with cherries and cinnamon. A very tart sour with a bunch of cherries, wood from the barrel, vanilla and notes of cinnamon. A tasty, unique Fruited Dunkelweizen aged for two years in oak wine barrels.
