Beer Definition:
Our Carica sat under an American oak and there she found some bourbon bottles. As she drank from them she became more powerful.
She also brings more joy now. We soaked oak in Bulleit bourbon and then we aged our Carica on it. Result is delicate wood notes, with hints of winters spices, oily body and bitter roasted finish.
STYLE: Stout - Russian Imperial
ABV: 9.5 %
IBU: 60
Our review:
Bourbon notes, some spiciness and coffee in the aroma. Deep black, a bit oily. Intense and quite bitter, roasty too especially towards the finish. A very nice, quite traditional Imperial Stout by Kabinet.
